Our ceremony and reception will take place on Saturday, October, 24, 2026 at Pippin Hill Farm & Vineyards just outside of Charlottesville.
We have a full weekend of events that you can see on our schedule page. We’ll be adding more detail as we get closer to the big day!
-
We strongly recommend booking in our room blocks at Boar’s Head Resort and The Forum (details on the Travel page) as transportation to and from Saturday’s venue will be provided.

We can’t wait to tee off the weekend with you!
Birdwood Golf Course does have a golf attire policy: “men must wear collared or turtleneck shirts and Bermuda-length shorts or trousers. Women may wear appropriate activewear or sleeveless shirts, along with skirts, shorts, or skorts.” Spiked golf shoes are not required.
For spectators, we’d ask that you stay away from denim and tank tops but don’t expect the dress code to be strictly enforced at a private event on The Par Three course.

The Rehearsal Dinner and Welcome Drinks are listed as “Dinner Party Casual or Cocktail”.
Why are their two dress codes? Because Kate forgot to change one before invites went to print (planning a wedding is a lot, y’all)
What do these dress codes mean? For some it could look like slacks, a button down, and a dinner jacket or a suit if you’d prefer (neither suits nor ties are an expectation). For other's this could be a nice dress or separates. For all, it should likely include a jacket or wrap as we will be outside!

We are so excited to get all dressed up with you! Saturday’s events are Black Tie. This is our way of making the night feel a little extra special — so here's what that means for everyone.
If you're wearing a tux: A classic black tux with a bow tie is always a great choice, but we're all for a fun jackets (be it velvet, or in another dark color). If that's more your style - go for it! We know many folks may not own a tuxedo but renting is easy and affordable — check out Men's Wearhouse, The Black Tux, or Generation Tux, all of which offer full packages that can ship directly to you.
If you're wearing a dress: Floor-length gowns are the classic choice. An elegant jumpsuit or formal separates work beautifully too. There are no specific colors you must wear but if you’d prefer to stay away from wedding party colors, avoid olive green. Again, rentals are very available here - Kate’s favorite site is Rent The Runway.
Can't wait to see everyone dressed to the nines! 🥂

While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration apart from our ring bearer and flower girl (Kate’s nephew and niece).
